  2. It seems as if its steel feeding bowl was designed explicitly for cats as it has just the perfect size and depth for their comfort level.
  3. It has a smaller capacity of 3L as compared to the standard 4L-7L ones. But is it a bad thing? In our opinion, it’s a plus point! Smaller capacity means fresher food for your kitty.
  4. Its smaller capacity, air-tight lid, modern dispensing technology, and built-in desiccant bag compartment keeps the food really fresh and crispy.
  5. It uses batteries as a backup in case of power outages.
  6. Each part of this feeder is detachable making the cleaning part really stress-free.
  7. With its cylindrical design and touch menu, this is by far the coolest and trendy looking automatic cat feeder on planet earth!

What we don’t like:

  1. It’s hard to think about the negatives of this automatic cat feeder. The voice it records is sometimes inaudible but cats are generally attracted to the sound of falling kibbles anyways and not the voice recording.

WOPET Smart Feeder is a perfect fit for you if you are planning for a vacation or will be away from home for a couple of days as it comes with a built-in camera.  By monitoring your cuties through the camera, you can make sure that they are eating their food timely and enjoy your holidays without any worries.

The built-in camera in this automatic feeder is not high definition. We still think it is the best automatic cat feeder with the camera because of some features that we couldn’t find in other feeders with better cameras. We have mentioned them below.

What we like the most:

  1. Other than keeping an eye on your pet’s food intake, the camera and app also let you talk and interact with your pets through speaker and take pictures. Pretty cool!
  2. It has a large capacity of 7 liters which means the food will last quite a while.
  3. The feeding schedule is stored in the device and it dispenses food perfectly fine even if the automatic cat feeder is not connected to the Wi-Fi, a feature rare to find in other feeders with the camera.
  4. It is easy to clean, has backup batteries and the app works with multiple feeders flawlessly.

What we don’t like:

  1. The feeder is not compatible with 5G routers.
  2. Like in other camera integrated automatic feeders, the camera in this one also doesn’t show the bowl so you won’t know if your baby has finished the food or not.

 

Keep in mind that although this feeder has a camera, its range is limited, and it cannot give you a complete view of the room or your house. If you are extra concerned about the safety of your pets and your house while on vacation, you might want to spend on a proper security camera solution.

WellToBe automatic pet feeder is specifically designed for feeding two cats and dispenses food equally in two separate bowls that are attached to the feeder.

What we like the most:

  1. Two plastic bowls are attached to the feeder and the feeding steel bowls are placed in the attached plastic bowls. It makes it really easy to clean and it also means that your naughty fur balls won’t be able to toss the bowls around.
  2. Steel bowls are much healthier than plastic bowls.
  3. There is this really cool feature in this feeder, blue lights keep on flashing on both sides when the food is low. You can’t simply ignore the lights and forget to refill the food container.
  4. A lot of people who have used this feeder specially commented that it’s pretty durable and great for long-term use too.

What we don’t like:

  1. The setup process is not exactly user-friendly. There is no up and down button for selecting portion sizes, you can only go up. So if you have selected 4 and you want to change it to 0, you will have to go up to 50 and then back to 0.
  2. There is this weird thing that some people have faced, they had to do the voice recording (to call the cats for food) first to get the feeder to work.

We must say, PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder is one of the most advanced pet feeders out there when it comes to high-end App and technology. It is a bit pricy of course but it’s totally worth it.

It not only allows you to monitor, schedule, or feed your pets from anywhere in the world but can also automatically re-order food online. It needs to be connected to the internet in order to do all these tasks. The feeding schedule works perfectly fine even without the internet as well.

What we like the most:

  1. There are many cool features in this pet feeder but what we love the most is its slow feed feature which dispenses a single meal in two servings, fifteen minutes apart. Your kitty won’t be able to gulp all the food at once and puke it afterward.
  2. The second best thing is that it has a metal bowl instead of a plastic one which is way healthier because bacteria can’t accumulate on metallic surfaces.
  3. It notifies when the feeder is low on food or battery.
